Elevating Youth Potential Together
Youth Elevation Project launched from a vision sparked in local aviation, where Philadelphia youth first took to the skies to experience learning without limits. Building on this foundation of hands-on exploration, YEP has transformed into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to youth empowerment through creative arts and cutting-edge STEAM programming. Our roots are grounded in community partnerships, especially within West, Southwest, and Northeast Philadelphia neighborhoods, where the need for safe, inspiring opportunities continues to grow. Today, we open doors for youth ages 6 to 19, especially those in under-resourced areas, helping them discover their confidence through bucket drumming, digital media, sewing and design, and technology labs. Mentorship and collaboration are at the heart of what we do, ensuring that every young person has access to positive role models and supportive learning spaces. Through innovation and inclusion, YEP creates pathways for educational success, future careers, and lifelong skills. We believe in saying YEP to a brighter tomorrow for Philadelphia's youth. Why Youth Elevation Matters
Confidence
Through engaging programs like bucket drumming and youth media projects, participants grow their confidence by taking creative risks and sharing their unique talents in front of peers. Friendly mentors and supportive teams help each young person feel seen, valued, and ready to try new things both inside and outside the classroom.
Teamwork
